Research Focus:
Synthesize new porous material and use new material for relevant applications
Tell us something about your current research:
I synthesize new porous materials that can use as proton conducting membranes.
What got you interested in chemistry? How does chemistry inspire you?
Originally, I did not like chemistry, but my parents asked me to study it. Chemistry was only interesting to me as I started my own in-depth research; the feeling of exploration was what made me happy.
Chemistry inspires me from the happy feeling I get from exploring new materials and captivation of potential applications that happen after the discovery of new materials.
What you like best about working at MANAR? What has been your proudest moment at MANAR?
MANAR provides good environment for young researchers to be trained and grow up. Young researcher will be happy at MANAR with your own discoveries.
What are your future goals (scientific/career/short-term/long-term)?
Create new concepts/ finish PhD/ become a top scientist

MANAR Participates in JCM9
The 9th U.S.—Vietnam Science and Technology Joint Committee meeting was held in Ho Chi Minh City from December 2-4, 2015. MANAR Co-Executive Director, Dzung Hoang, presented information about MANAR, including the global mentoring model and academic achievements, in a session promoting Science and Technology Education and Research Exchange. Furthermore, on Friday, December 4, representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), U.S. State Department, and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) traveled to MANAR received a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories.
