Ha L. Nguyen was awarded Toshiba Scholarship 2016

Ha Nguyen, Ph.D candidate, who is waiting for the last defense to get Ph.D diploma, was chosen to be a recipient receiving 200,000 Japanese Yen from TOSHIBA 2016 scholarship. This is the first time for him to obtain one of the great and competitive scholarships. Please join us in congratulating Ha for his achievement. The 26-year-old then had a lab tour guidance for delegation of TOSHIBA representative at INOMAR Center and presented generally about INOMAR which had established to seek the excellent research.

Delegations from Toshiba Corporation visits INOMAR

On Friday, October 21st, Dr. Yutaka Sata, general manager, and Delegations from Toshiba Corporation visited INOMAR. On behalf of INOMAR, Ha L. Nguyen presented the general research activities and our recently achievements. We also took them to a tour of our cutting-edge facilites and laboratories. We thank for their visit our center and hope their support for INOMAR.

Thach N. Tu successfully defended his PhD dissertation

On 27th September 2016, Thach N. Tu successfully defended his PhD dissertation, entitled "Synthesis of cobalt and iron-based metal organic frameworks and their applications". Congratulations Dr. Thach N. Tu!

 

Binh and Ha publish in Chemistry of Materials

Ph.D. students Binh T. Nguyen and Ha L. Nguyen are authors on a recently accepted research paper in Chemistry of Materials (Impact Factor 9.407) entitled "High Methanol Uptake Capacity in Two New Series of Metal-Organic Frameworks: Promising Materials for Adsorption-Driven Heat Pump Applications". Congratulations Students!
