Nhung publishes paper in Angewandte!
Ph.D. student, Nhung Nguyen, publishes her work on selective carbon dioxide capture under humid conditions by ZIFs in Angewandte Chemie International Journal (Impact Factor 13.7). The materials developed by Nhung have exciting potential for industrial applications. This is Nhung's first paper and the second paper from MANAR this year. Great work! You can find her paper here: DOI: 10.1002/anie.201403980R2
Long Ngo successfully defends M.Sc. thesis and graduates. Congratulations!
Long successfully defended his Master of Chemistry thesis titled, "Synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks from Azo-Compounds." Long will spend the summer researching at MANAR and is looking into pursuing a Ph.D. Congrats Master Long!
Hung publishes a paper in JPC. Congratulations Hung!
Research assistant, Hung Pham, lead an international team (including researchers at the University of Science) on conducting a systematic investigation on how functionalizing organic linkers affects the band gap of metal-organic frameworks. Their results were published in the prestigious journal, Journal of Physical Chemistry C. This is Hung’s first paper and MANAR’s first of the year. Congratulations Hung! Here is the link to his paper: DOI: 10.1021/jp405997r
